Equal Pay Policy

Equal pay policy of Festi is a salary policy and applies to all employees.

The Equal Pay Policy is to safeguard equality in salary related decisions so that employees receive equal pay for equal work or of equal value regardless of gender. The policy is also an integral part of the Equality Policy.

  • An equal pay system is operated in accordance with the Equal Pay Standard ÍST 85, together with legal and other defined requirements
  • Equal pay criteria determines the salary range for a defined job, the criteria are factual and do not involve direct or indirect discrimination
  • All decisions on salary shall be transparent, topical, documented and traceable
  • Equal pay policies and targets are reviewed annually by management

Executive directors and managers of FESTI are responsible for the implementation of the policy. The HR manager oversees and is responsible for continuous improvement and the enforcement of equal pay standards.
